Submitting Information for Publication in the newsletter:

Anyone may submit information for publication. Below is a list of suggested items. However, submissions are not limited to this list.

Some suggested items:

Obituaries (if from newspaper, identify name of newspaper, publisher, location & date).

School class rosters, copies of programs, news articles (identify name of newspaper, publisher, location & date), copies of photos (please identify the subject(s) and year), copies of documents & certificates.

Family recipes

Copies of old family photos & snapshots. Identify the subject(s), date and event (if applicable).

Biographies. Please list sources.

Bible records. Type written as recorded.

Guest books. Type written as recorded (show date & event)

Old Wills & Probate records. Type written as recorded.

Old deeds. Typed or Photostat.

Church minutes, photos, class rosters, marriages, baptisms, certificates & documents (give name & location of church, name of pastor, event, if applicable, and date for all submissions.

Copies of military photos and citations.

Lodge & club rosters, minutes, photos, awards (give name & location of organization, date and identify the subject if applicable.

Copies of public record transcripts that are significant to the history of the area.

Cemetery surveys, cemetery locations.

Copies of old maps.
